It has been very busy summer with our dogs Amber, Fanni and Senni after the latest news;

Senni took part in Tornio international dogshow 23.7.2011. Senni got Very Good in youth class. Pictures about show and judge Cindy Pettersson´s judgement on Senni´s own pages.

Fanni took part in Kestilä duck test on 30.7.2011 and in Karttula duck test on 6.8.2011. Fanni got 3rd prize in both test. Pictures about both tests on Fanni's own pages. Also Senni has started duck test trainings in this summer :)

Senni took part in Pyhäjärvi blood tracking test on 14.8.2011 and in Pyhäntä blood tracking test today. Senni got 2nd prize in both tests! There is pictures about tests and Senni with her prizes on her finnish pages.

Tero and Amber were duckhunting on Pyhäjärvi 20.8.2011. They got three ducks as picture shows to you!

Tero and Outi has travelled with motorbike both in Norways Lofoten and in eastern Finland. Pictures about trip to Norway here.

We were on last weekend in western Finland with Fanni and Senni.

On saturday Senni took part in Kokkola international dogshow. Senni got Excellent in youth class. Furthermore she got CAC, CACIB and BOS! Pictures about show and judge Pia Lundberg´s judgement on Senni´s own pages.

On sunday Fanni took part in Pomarkku Finland championsip duck test 2011. Fanni was 2nd in test and got her third 1st prize! So Fanni will be Duck test champion after Finland Kennel Club has admited it to her. Pictures about test on our finnish pages.

Minni has been also in several dogshows lately;
19.6.2011 in Riihimäki (judge Riitta Lahtovaara) Minni got Very good. 
2.7.2011 in Tuusula (judge Markku Lampero) Minni got Excellent and was 2nd in competition class.
3.7.2011 in Karjaa (judge Hjelmvedt) Minni got Excellent and was 1st in competition class.

Fanni took part in Pyhäntä´s blood tracking test on last weekend. Fanni got in winner class 1st prize! Fanni is still able to continue old hobbies! There is pictures about test and Fanni with her rosette on ours finnish pages.

Congratulations to Minni, Nasti, Roosa, Lenny and Senni! It´s their one year birthdayparties today! We selebrated Senni´s birthdayparties with very tasty cake. At least Senni, Fanni and Amber tought so! Picture about Senni and cake on our finnish "Uutta" page. There is a picture about Senni´s one year pose on her own page.

Last weekend we were with our "girls" (Senni, Fanni and Amber) in dog park and Roosa was there too. It was very cold but pretty eventful 15 minutes... There is pictures about meeting on our finnish "Uutta" page and on Roosa´s own page.

Fanni and Senni made this weekend a caravantrip to Hailuoto. There were lot of rabbits again. Both Senni and Fanni found today fresh rabbit tracks. Tracks were so warm that Senni gave a little bark on it. But there were a lot of snow too in Hailuoto, so we didn´t found the rabbit. Here and there the snow cover were half meters thick. Because we were in Hailuoto we were also on sea both of days. Fanni, Senni and Amber were very pleased about freedom which running on endless icecover got to them.

There are pictures about hobbies on sea and rabbit hunting on our finnish "Uutta" page. At first there are a picture about Fanni on sea. Then couple pictures about Fanni and couple pictures about Senni on rabbit hunting. Last but not least is a picture about Amber in her new hobby.

Congratulations to Minni, Nasti, Roosa, Lenny and Senni! It´s only one month to their one year birthdayparties. On Sennis pages is pictures which were taken today.

Fanni was last week in watertherapy in Kannus. Fanni trained her walking on a treadmill which were in water. Fanni trained two times, around 7 minutes each time and everything went well. We noticed clearly that after both times Fanni walked better few minutes than earlier. Then her walking came back on it´s funny way. But permanent  change on her walk will came after several exercise. Fanni will do her next exercise after few weeks from first one. There are couple pictures on our finnish "Uutta" page about exercise.

I was yesterday hunting rabbits with Senni and we achieved second waypoint in our training; Senni hounded a rabbit around 10 minutes and one kilometer. The most important thing is that there was one loss when Senni hounded the rabbit and for the first time Senni solved the loss!     -tero-

Minni and her owners Henry and Margareta were yesterday hunting rabbits. Margareta reported today that Minni hounded a rabbit around 15-30 minutes and then Henry shooted the rabbit down. Congratulations to Minni and her owners - it was fine achievement!

Congratulations to Minni, Nasti, Roosa, Lenny and Senni too! They were nine months old on tuesday 16.11.

Fanni was today her first time free in a forrest after her dachshounds paralysis 2,5 months ago. She enjoyed about her freedom like a free bird on a sky. She ran about as eager as before her paralysis. There were rabbit tracks also and Fanni was pretty interested about them. We thought that so far it is better that Senni take care of rabbit hounding;) There is picture about Fanni in forrest today on page "Uutta".

Senni and Tero were in Hailuoto yesterday and on saturday 6.11. Senni found rabbits on both visits and hounded them. There was around 3 cm snow on a ground on last week saturday and because of snow Senni hounded a rabbit without any barking. Yesterday there was around 20 cm snow but Senni was already familiar with it so she barked when she hound a rabbit. There is new pictures about Sennis hunt training on page "Sennin ajotreenit".

Senni has continued her obedience training and we noticed that Senni is almost as clever as Fanni. But so far - almost;) The is new pictures about Sennis training on page "Sennin TOKOilut".

Roosa has hounded her first deer hound couple weeks ago.

Minni took part on 7.11.2010 Lohjas puppy dog show and she got honorary award again!

It seems that Senni is on every saturday in good hunting mood. On last saturday 23.10 Senni found a rabbit and hounded it about three minutes. Today in Hailuoto Senni hounded two rabbits, both of them few minutes. So far rabbits are more clever than Senni and the hound lasts only few minutes but Tero noticed that Senni has developed quite much in hunting on this season.

Senni has also started her obedience training in October.

Congratulations to all Fannis and Zecars puppies! They were eight months old yesterday.

Hunting news;

Besides the birthday it is another reason to celebrate here in kennel Canderell; We were hunting yesterday and Senni found a rabbit and hounded it. The start of the hound was pretty funny because at first Tero saw the rabbit who came from the thicket and Senni came on rabbits track quiet after few seconds. Then Senni noticed the rabbit and Senni and the rabbit watched each other around ten seconds. Then the rabbit moved slowly and Senni started her hound step by step. After ten meters Senni started bark with clear and audible voice. Hound continued from six to seven minutes around 600 meters. 

Also Nasti hounded rabbit few weeks ago and Roosa has continued her fine hounds. Roosa has hounded both rabbits and one wounded elk too!

Other news; 

Minni took part on 2.10.2010 Lohjas puppy dog show and she got honorary award! 

The rehabilitation of Fanni has been continued. Fanni has recovered well and she walks on her own pretty well. It just looks funny sometimes when Fanni walks because she hasn´t found the right rythm to her walk yet.

Congratulations to all Fanni´s and Zecar´s puppies! They were six months old yesterday.

It was a wonderful weekend on Kennel Canderell and with Fanni´s and Zecar´s puppies;

Fanni took part in two finnish "water-game-test" or in other words "duck test". One was in Tampere 13.8.2010 and the second was in Tuusniemi 14.8.2010. Fanni was the best dog and achieved 1st price in both of tests. There is pictures about test on our VERI and Uutta pages. What happened in test: See "News" 18.7.2010.

Minni took part in Helsinki dachshunds special dog show and was the best female littlepuppy in the show! Congratulations to Minni´s owners!

Roosa has been in the forrest in eastern Finland and she founded there two rabbits! Roosa hounded both of rabbits several minutes and barked with fine and audible voice. Congratulation to Roosa´s owners too!

There is also new pictures about Nasti on the peak of Saana-fell. There was very windy...

Tero was with Senni in the forrest too.  We didn´t found rabbits yet but Senni dares to seek rabbits (and everything else what is interesting) on large area.

There is new pictures about Amber on her own page when we were on Kempele bay on last week. In few picture she is so rapid that nobody believes that she is ten years old!

Fanni is today four years old!! On our finnish "News" page is pictures about very warm birthdayparties here in Oulu. There Senni, Fanni and Amber celebrates and eat dinner on our garden. After the dinner we went out to swim on Kempele bay near our home.

Congratulations to all Fanni´s and Zecar´s puppies! On 16.7.2010 they were five months old.

So four puppy from Fanni´s second litter went to their new homes. After the puppies left their birthplace we have tested our new caravan. At first we made the trip to the northern Finland, Pallas, where our "little" dogs Fanni and Senni experienced the magic of the Lappland... Then at the beginning of the summer we travelled to the southern Finland and we visited our first time in Åland. 

During the summer we have seen Zecar´s and Fanni´s every puppy which have grown to very nice young dachshunds. No one about puppies owners have nothing negative to say about the puppies. We are also very pleased with our puppy Senni. Her character is charming and we like her outlook also. There are many new pictures about the litter on their own pages;

Minni´s (Canderell Gabriella) nickname is Minni.

Ninni´s (Canderell Gunilla) nickname is Nasti.

Sanni´s (Canderell Gipsygirl) nickname is Roosa. 

Senni´s (Canderell Gossipgirl) nickname is Senni.

Lenni´s (Canderell Gentleman) nickname is Lenny.

During the summer we have also taken interest in many hobbies with our dogs. 

With Senni Tero has worked out basic obedience training and we have explored couple time in a week in a forrest near our home. So when the autumn comes and hunting season stars we are ready to meet many rabbits on our hunting areas...

Here Senni wonders "what is that fallen tree..."  

With Amber we have concentrated on maintenance of old skills ;) Recently Amber has spent her time as our dachshunds; swimming...

So the time goes. It´s now seven and half weeks when Fanni gave birth to Kennel Canderell first dachshundlitter. This time has been very active and at the same time very productive. The litter has grown apparent quickly. Especially when puppies were around two weeks old the development were amazing. Puppies eyes and ears opened and they learned to walk in a week!

When the puppies were old enough we take them to veterinarian who maked a medical examination to each puppy and marked them on microchip. Then the Finnish Kennelclub registered each puppy.

Now three puppy (Sanni, Ninni and Minni) from the litter has gone to their new happy homes. Lenni will go to his new home on next week, saturday.

We decided already when we started to make the litter that we will leave one puppy to stay here with us. Now after very hard decision Senni will stay here with us. The decision were hard because at least we think that every puppy were the best in the litter.

As you have noticed there is new pictures on page "Toka Kakarani". The pictures has taken when puppies were seven weeks old. After the registeration the litter has also got new official names and they will have their own pages on Kennel Canderell´s homepages.

Fanni´s puppies are now five days old and everything is ok with the puppies and Fanni. Puppies just eat and sleep and they grow up an incredible speed. Fanni eats normal food already and she has patient to go out also. Here is plenty of doing with the puppies but it is a pleasant doing:)

All the puppies are already reserved and their new homes are good and will be interested in some dachshund hobby.

Fanni gave birth yesterday for five puppies. The puppies were born between 19:40-22:15. At first were born four girls and the last (but not the least) were born a boy. Fannis birth was natural. Everything went on well with the birth. All the puppies were after the birth and still are healthy and strong. Everything is ok with Fanni too.

Although the birth was natural we needed veterinarians help yesterday. 

Fanni got calsiumsolution two times. Everything else went on well.

Fanni´s belly seems to be full of puppies and we can feel their movements clearly. We built a new "home" for Fanni and her coming litter and everything is ready for Fanni´s birth. Maybe it will be on next weekend...

Fanni became 29.1.2010 Nordic Champion of bloodtracks! 

Fanni´s pregnancy goes on normally. Yesterday we felt the very first movement of Fanni´s puppy, at least we think so;) We hardly can´t wait until we can feel puppies movements clearly!

39 days behind Fanni´s pregnancy and Fanni´s belly begins to grow. Fanni´s appetite also grows day after day. Fanni is doing well and everything is ok!

It is 28th day of Fanni´s pregnancy today and Fanni´s ultrasound was also today. Ultrasound picture and veterinary said that our family will increase with some puppies in the near future. Veterinary estimated that Fanni is pregnant with four puppies, at least. 

There is a pedigree of incoming puppies on the site "Puppies awaited".

We added some pictures on Fanni´s website English sector. 

Fanni´s pregnancy goes on normally. We don´t know yet is there puppies coming but Fanni´s behaviour has changed. Fanni´s incoming ultrasound  will be on wednesday 13.1.2010. Then we know how Fanni and Zecar succeeded in decembers mating.
